Use Jar is your heal ability - you basically gather dew in a jar and then use it to heal yourself when you run low on HP. B, C, and V for Use Jar, Main Tool, and Sub Tool are the ones I'm not too sure others will find as effective as me. F and G for Page Left/Page Right works this controls flipping the pages of your inventory (Tools, Dew Jars, Resources, Favors & Building, Key). I for Inventory and M for Map are already set up that way, and I found those worked fine for me. Some of the left-side movement keys are already set to other things, so you'll have to change them to something else temporarily in order to set them to directionals. The game is automatically set to the arrow keys for movement, but if you'd prefer left-handed movement, then just switch the keys around to fit. Using ADWS for left/right/up/down is pretty standard, and most people are used to playing that way already. This is also where you can mess with the options if you haven't already. Very simple stuff, just follow the onscreen instructions. When it's finished, you'll transition into a tutorial in your home, Kindergarden. Like most games, it'll open with a cutscene. Thanks, and I hope my efforts are of some assistance to some people. It's not meant to tell you how to play the game or ruin the whole experience, so please don't look at this if you want a pure blind experience. *This walkthrough is a compilation mainly meant to help people who become stuck at certain points. The following standalone guides are at the bottom of the walkthrough: You can just ignore any genders I assigned to any of the little produce people if it makes you feel better. Writing with genders in place is just much easier and smoother for me. I tried to stay true to it, but please forgive that I inevitably gave up. Playing this game, you'll notice firm gender neutrality throughout. You can do the same thing with Timed Puzzles, which are the directional puzzles involved with dowsing set it to false to get rid of the timer. Toggle it to true and if you're dealt a fatal blow, you'll just receive a major debuff, instead of dying and losing a percentage of your leaflets. If you find yourself having trouble with combat, there's a preference in the options you can toggle under Gameplay called Perish Prevention. The storyline is very controlling at times, especially in the beginning, and will block off exits to keep you on track with little room to explore or backtrack. If you don't want to inadvertently run out of daylight hours while you're distracted with something else, make sure to remember to pause. There's a day/night cycle that will go on unless you hit Escape (ESC) to pause. I chose one-handed, and my settings will be laid out in the first chapter. Unfortunately, your mouse will be nonfunctional, so if you opt for your keyboard then you'll have to play one of two styles: one- or two-handed. This game is set up for a PC controller, but you can play with a keyboard. This is a very fun, cute RPG in which you play a grape sent on an important quest to help and then eventually save your world from the enemy, dubbed the Rot, which is basically the breakdown process of organic material anthropomorphized.
